NPC Election 2011: The Third Candidate is not the First Challenger

Billiken Gerstenberg's picture

The Billiken is shocked, shocked I tell you, to receive the most bizarre email being circulated by one of the three candidates for National Press Club president this year.  He seems to think that as the third candidate for president, he is somehow the first challenger.  Clearly he's a bit confused.  And being the discrete individual I am, I won't mention the name of this particular candidate for National Press Club president, but you can anonymously and respectfully watch him yell at people here:  http://youtu.be/pS--O18Mw7w. (WARNING:  FOUL LANGUAGE.  Just sayin'.)

Fellow NPC members, if you wish to make an educated assessment of the candidates for National Press Club president, the Billiken BEGS you to watch last Monday's debate:

  • Visit http://www.press.org
  • Log in with your National Press Club member number and password
  • Click on MEMBERSHIP
  • Click on 2011 NPC Elections
  • Watch the VIDEO for the November 28 debate

And ASK YOURSELF - SERIOUSLY - which of these three candidates do you SERIOUSLY want to:

  • Represent you?
  • Represent the National Press Club?
  • Moderate NPC Luncheons on C-Span, for international distribution?

SERIOUSLY - I could blather on endlessly with the same sort of generic campaign nonsense like the email I received today, OR ...

You could simply see for yourself.

The answer is obvious.

Vote for Theresa Werner.

'Nuff said.
